Which Area Am I Serving In Again? -Porsgrunn Week Ninety Five

There was a lot of traveling this week! Seemed like we were almost never in Porsgrunn!

Arendal and Baptismal Interview

Since Arendal is in our district, and needed a baptismal interview, and Elder Greenwood is the district leader, who does the baptismal interviews, we drove down to Arendal so Elder Greenwood could do a baptismal interview. The interview went great, and Isangella was baptized on Saturday! We stayed a night with the Elder before we drove back home the next day.

Zone Conference

Went up to Drammen and had a great zone conference. Learned a lot about a new teaching pattern, and how we need to make sure that our humor is not hurtful or harmful to anyone. Weird to think that it was my last one, but I got to see a lot of awesome people! 

Service, School Presentations, og en Innebandy Turnering

In Zone Conference President Tew shared a comment that Elder Uchtdorf, head of the missionary department, made at a mission president seminar. The comment was "We want our missionaries to find in more natural ways." Hence we have been trying to use our talents, and be a little creative. We have had the wonderful opportunity of doing service for members, and non-members this week. We have had several School classes come to the church, and we have had the opportunity to share with them our basic befiefs, and answer the questions they have. The last thing is that we organized a innebandy, or floor hockey, tournament at the church for this upcoming Saturday. The goal is to have the opportunity to meet people in a casual setting, so they do not think missionaries are a bunch of weirdos. Hahaha, but all in all we are trying to meet peopl in casual, creative, and non-threatening ways.
