Well two exciting things happened recently. We had Easter, which I will talked about a little bit later, and Tiger Woods won the Masters. What a great week for us all!
Shout outs!
1. Kennedy had her birthday this week! Party party!
2. Barry had his birthday about a week ago as well!
Påske! What else really matters?
Well because Norway shut down from last Wednesday to today we have had to get a little creative. We spent a lot of time with our wonderful members and sharing the Easter message with them and encouraging them to spread it even further! It was such a blessing to be with so many awesome families this week.
We got a to spend a night at the Tops, and that was so much fun. The spirit in their home, and the fun we were able to have made this Easter a very special one. We shared the Norwegian Easter video which is based on this sentence, "Påske er..." or in english "Easter is..." and then the video lists words like faith, hope, charity, and then at the end it says "Påske er Kristus" or "Easter is Christ." We went around and had everybody share what "Easter is..." to them. The spirit was very strong, and one of the answers that stuck out to me was when someone said "Påske er omvendelse" or "Easter is Repentance." The reason we celebrate Easter is because Christ rose again from the dead and made it possible for us to return back into the presence of our Father in Heaven. However, to remain in the presence of our Heavenly Father we are required to repent, and use the infinite atonement that has been given to us. One of the greatest gifts we receive because of Easter is the opportunity to begin a new, over, and over again. I loved that answer "Easter is repentance." I hope that we all felt the love of our savior this easter season! He really does love us. He really went through everything for each individual. I know it is true and I love that it is true!
