Well this is it ladies and gentlemen! This is my last transfer in Norway, and it is gonna be a stellar one!
Let's just jump into the week!
Moves
Yes it was moves this week. I will be staying here with Elder Greenwood to serve the rest of my days in the beautiful city of Porsgrunn! It is gonna be sick! Sadly Elder Baird, and Sister Rawson will be leaving us:( On the bright side, since Elder Greenwood is district leader we get to go to Drammen, and Arendal this transfer! Woot Woot!
Aleksandra
After a few cancelled, and rescheduled appointments, we finally got to meet with her! The lesson went great, and she loved having a Book of Mormon, because it is the only book she has that is in her mother tongue, russian! She also came to general conference! A wonderful member was able to pick her up, and then another member had the russian translation of conference and a pair of headphones ready for her to use! WOW! What awesome members! We are hoping to get a baptismal date with her this week! Arms crossed, and knees on the ground!
Conference! YES!YES!YES!
AMAZING! If you have not seen conference yet, you better put your life on pause for about 10 hours and crank it out! Your life will be 10000000000000x better, trust me. I love having the opportunity to listen to our inspired church leaders. They teach so clearly, simply, and boldly the truths of the restoration! One of my favorite talks was by President Nelson during the priesthood session. He talked about repentance. It was so simple. Every needs to repent. It is not a bad thing to have to repent. It is a necessary step to return back to our Heavenly Father. When we repent we bring ourselves closer to God. The Savior is waiting with outstretched arms, waiting for us to turn to Him. I know that President Nelson is a prophet of God, because the words he speaks are the Lord's will for this people today! If you wanna find that out, simply listen to his words and pray. That is our invitation to everyone! Pray and find out for yourself!
