This week flew by! Lots of fun times and good memories! Loving being in Porsgrunn!
Shout out to my boys the Pats took another super. The Goat Tom Brady gets another ring!
Bowling with the Boys
Last pday we went bowling with the Morgan boys, Lukas, Nikolai, and Vincent. It was pretty fun, and we got to talk and get to know them a little bit better! Also on Wednesday night we went over to their families house for dinner and had a great dinner! We talked to them a lot about missionary work and their expectations for us as missionaries, and then we talked about how we could help them as a family to be better missionaries. It was a great dinner, and I loved how engaged members here are. They really want to do the work, and just need a little encouragement from us!
Splits with the Tønsberg gutter
Went to Tønsberg on Friday and it was awesome. We went shoveling snow. Instead of banking and trying to share a message about Christ, we tried to give them Christ like service. It seemed at the begging that our efforts were futile because everyone had either just finished or said they did not need help. Then our luck changed for the better! A nice old lady allowed us to shovel her driveway! After that a mother allowed us to, it took a little convincing because she was going to have her son do it. In the end though she was so grateful, and kept trying to pay us, but we told her that we would not accept payment. In the end she made us take a chocolate bar. The last person was just some lady who was shoveling her driveway, and we were actually on our way home to change for basketball, but we stopped and asked if we could shovel her snow and she said "I need to know how much you will charge." When we told her it was free she asked if we were angels, to which we responded "No, just missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints." It was really fun to go around and offer Christlike service to those around us! After that we played some basketball! Met some really nice people and had a good time as well!

Haircut
Through out my whole mission I have been able to avoid having a "bad" haircut. That was until now. Elder Garrett was cutting my hair, and well... He may have made a mistake... Good thing hair grows back right?

Teaching and other Missionary work
1. Met with Serdar and had a really good teach with him. He seemed to be more sincere! He even committed to reading and praying every night. When we told him that we had each read the Book of Mormon several times there was something different about him. More dedication and desire!
2. We got lunch with a young man named Faran! He is really nice, and his mom is being taught by the Sisters! Hopefully we can get something going with him! Also he came to church on Sunday!
3. Met with the Jehovah's Witnesses again and had a good discussion. It kind of leads in the circle of them telling us that the Book of Mormon contradicts the bible and then us explaining that it only contradicts there interpretation of the bible. I really enjoy it though. There is no animosity just a good religious discussion. They agreed to read Alma 5! Hopefully that can help them!
4. Dropped off some cookies at some returning members homes! Hoping to build a relationship so we can pop in some time!
5. Lots of contacting but as of now still know luck!
