What was your favorite thing that happened this week?
Oh BOY!!! Bishop's koselig kveld! I'll explain why later!
Are you really loving being a senior companion and having no other responsibility?
Yes! I miss being a zone leader a little bit, but it feels really nice to be back to the normal grind of missionary work! There are bits and pieces that i miss from being a zone leader, but really what I love the most is the opportunity to try to change porsgrunn and focus all my missionary efforts to one area!
What is the best Norwegian treat?
Sjokolade. The chocolate here is pretty good, but homemade eplekake, apple cake, is really good as well. I have not had that in a while, but it was a fan favorite in the Drammen days.
Koselig Kveld
Bishop had an awesome little party at his house. It was really fun, and sadly we did not get the news that we would be sledding so we were in just normal missionary clothes. However sad that may be, we still went sledding. Ain't no way I am missing out on a good time just because I am wearing missionary clothes. We had a blast sledding with everyone. I went down standing on a sled with a ysa, surprised that we made it down without dying. Also got four people on one of the small sleds as well. Really fun time, and great time to get to know the ward!

Prophecy fulfilled
When we went out contacting we were stopped by a young man named CHRISTIAN "DANGER" BURNS!!! He was from Texas and invited us to go to an evangelical meeting where they would cast out devils, heal people, and feel the spirit. Sadly we had bishop's party to go to. We had a nice conversation in which he said the voice of God spoke to him and asked if Elder Barnes was having any left leg pain. At that moment he was not. Fast forward to the party and Elder Barnes knee begins to hurt. Prophet? No Elder Barnes just hit his knee while sledding most likely. It was a great conversation and Christian said a prayer for each of us and then we left.

Other Highlights
1. We taught Jonathon and Anika. They were a little more aggressive this time, and really do not agree that God will give each of his children at least some degree of glory. Hopefully reading and praying will help them!
2. Met a nice girl named Natasha. She had never heard about the church or the Book of Mormon, and was really excited when we told her that we had further knowledge about Jesus Christ. Told her about the sister missionaries and that they would love to meet with her! Hopefully that goes well!
3. Made a chocolate roll, and then made some cinnamon roles using pizza role
4. Shoveled some snow, a lot of snow.
