Things That Happen In Trondheim-Trondheim Week Seventy Three

Well to keep things short this week we had a fun of crazy things happen! 

Splits with Tromsø

Tromsø came to us this transfer and that was a blast. I was split with Elder Aland and we went to find one of our referalls that lived a little ways out. After hiking a mountain we finally found the house and knocked on it! Ready to deliver the pamphlets and dvds which he had requested. Sadly, Øystein did not wanted the things we had... It is okay because we were able to visit a member who lives out there and give her an invitation to the ward thanksgiving party this weekend!

We also tried to help an older member with his email and ipad... Now Elder Aland and I both have a decent amount of computer knowledge individually, so together this should have been a cake walk. It was not so... Imagine if you were on a tightrope. Riding a unicycle. Juggling swords. While people are throwing fruit at you! Yeah... Needless to say nothing got accomplished and Elder Aland and I both felt very defeated... Norwegian emails and apple software aparently do not agree in the slightest...

The people you meet in Trondheim

I met Weston Meikley from good ol' springfield missouri, in Trondheim Norway. As we were headed out we heard some americans talking so we decided to stop them and ask if where they were from. Well that is when I saw Weston and after staring at each other for a few seconds we flipped out! Really cool to see him. He is in Norway for the NATO practices happening. Crazy things...

We have found a few awesome people and are hoping to get appointments this week! I love the ability to talk with people here in Trondheim because they are all really awesome college student who all want to make a difference in the world! Really cool to meet people who have a similar goal that we have as missionaries!

I really love how the Book of Mormon can change our lives. It can give us knowledge that will turn pain, sadness, and dispair into hope, joy, and happiness. As we daily read and study the Book of Mormon our character will change and the Christ like attributes we all desire we become more aparent in us. Others will look to us for help, and to do as the Savior would do.
