Triple Crown-Drammen Week Sixty Five

The week was a week full of conferences! First we had zone conference with Elder Sabin from the area presidency, next was Missionary Leadership Conference, and finally we had stake coneference. Put those all together and I took the triple crown this week!

Shout Outs!
1. Luci Wallace! She will be going to the MTC next week!!!! Party!!!
2.  BYU and Michigan both are ranked in the top 25! Miracles have not ceased, we live in a time of miracles!
3. Elder Rumsey! He is getting his wisdom teeth out! Hope that goes well! :)

Well honestly most of what happened was in these conferences. It was highly spiritual, and I was kinda drained after them, but I guess we can start with Elder Sabin's conference on thursday!

People we are teaching
Sadly it has been a little dry lately and we have not been able to get in contact with people. However we did meet an awesome young man yesterday! Hopefully something happens there!
Last night we went on a teach with the sisters to a man who is from Bolivia. He was super cool and Elder Welch and I talked about how both our fathers had served in Peru. He said he is gonna get us some IncaCola!! Is that not awesome?!?!?!

Zone Conefernce
We got their and had some time to chat, I got to see a lot of the homies again so that was sweet! The conference was about everything imaginable, but we focused most on understanding our divine identity as sons and daughters of God with divine potential to become as He is! Such a great message that most of the world has not been able to hear yet! The real fun began however after the conference!

Back to the good ol' days
Since we had MLC, mission leadership conference, the next day we just stayed in Oslo. However since it was only 5 o'clock we needed something to do. Well luckily Elder Egan was there and we decided to go a little old school. We decided that we would go check up on Ken, if anyone remembers who this guy is right now 500000 points to you. He was the one that gave us the free honey. His samboer, someone who you live with that is basically your wife but you are not married,  did not like religion so after the first lesson with him he said he was no longer interested. Another fun fact is that every time we had gone to visit him before, including the very first time, he had been smoking on his porch. As Elder Egan and I walked to his house reminiscing on the good ol' days we got to Ken's house and low and behold he had walked out of his front door to begin smoking! hahahahaha! We went and talked to him and learned that his life had flipped a 180... His samboer was going to move out and he was struggling a little. Elder Egan and I just listened and talked. Never did we try to push our message on him. Our goal was to go and check up on a friend! At the end we had the opportunity to share with him the 21 day challenge card. As he looked at day two, which had the question "how can I feel joy in this life", he said "I am working on this one. I will read that!" It was incredible! Elder Egan and I contacted a little more, walked past the old house, and finally ate dinner at the american diner! What a fun night!
Boys will be boys!

Ta Dah!!

What more can i say?
Well I as gonna say some more about the other conferences, but I think I will just end with that story. The prompting to go visit Ken could have been ignored by Elder Egan and I. We could have said "You know we have already tried and he said he was not interested, why bother?" Instead we decided to act in faith and show love! I know that those two principles of the gospel are what changes people's lives! Faith and Love! Thank you so much!! I hope you all have a great week!
