This week was nothing special, but was one where the Lord showed his love and care for us very much! Nothing mind blowing, no one is now walking who was once in a wheelchair, but I am more certain than I have ever been before that this we have a Savior and that this is His church!
Shout Outs!
1. Joe Brown is going to Hungary/Romania mission speaking Hungarian!! There better be some people hungry for the gospel because he is gonna serve it!!
2. Jordan Kraude is in the MTC going to Adriatic South Mission speaking Albanian.
3. BYU won! Don't know how but it happened! (Sadly Michigan didn't, it will be a day for the eternities when both BYU and Michigan beat semi decent teams in the same week)
Questions
Pday today?
We are hoping to play some golf with a member, this will test all my capabilities.
If i could change one thing this week what would it be?
Not being sick... It puts such a damper on missionary work... IT WAS THE WORST!!!
I think the best way to go through this week is just make a list of awesome things that happened!
1. There was an awesome ward activity where we did the Highland games, or the games in Scotland where you throw rocks and logs and do other manly things! Way fun!
2. Played baseball! I know right! A member here invited us to play on Thursday and it was way fun! Felt for once that i was actually capable of playing a sport with Norwegians.
3. Lots of middags with members! We got to go and visit the Weggersen family which is always so much fun! They are an incredible family!
4. Found someone new to teach! He has great faith in the bible! He also has a strong faith in the Trinity, we hope that through prayer and reading the Book of Mormon he can get an answer!
5. We had an appointment with Veronica and the Sister Missionaries and the sisters will now be teaching her! She is awesome!
6. Erlend came to the Eliassens again and we talked about the power of the Book of Mormon! We gave him and the Eliassen family the 21 day challenge cards! (If you do not know what that is click right here: lds.org.uk/the-book-of-mormon)

7. Started knitting another sweater for me this time!
8. Took some naps because of the killer headache that came with the sickness...
9. Last Pday we went to the Mission President's house and made a bunch of healthy food! Really fun and learned some tips and tricks!
10. I just really think there should be ten so i am just kinda typing this until an event from this week appears in my head.......... OH I translated at church, which is always fun and a pain. Translating is by far the greatest test of your ability to speak a language...
11. Thought of another one! We went to do the musical on saturday and the members that were going to come got sick, but Glenn and Christy Brownlee where able to come! It was a lot of fun, and they even bought all us missionaries ice cream afterwards!

I know that most of those do not seem like such big events, but throughout this week those events have meant a lot. The real tender mercies came from the members! They are incredible! I do not know why I was blessed and picked to serve, but I never want to leave! This place is the greatest place on earth. Forget disneyland, world, universe, whatever you and your kids like, Drammen is the greatest place on earth! Almost as if a little bit of heaven has been put on earth!
