Alright so this week I got to ride and bike, and any missionary that has not ridden a bike on their mission needs to find a bike and ride it! It is the best! I have never felt more like a missionary! We will talk about that a little bit more later!

Question and Answer
Q: If there was one Norwegian food that you wish you never had to eat again what would it be?
A: Hot dogs... I never thought I would eat so many hot dogs in norway... I mean do not get me wrong I could probably eat like 5 or 6 no complaints right now, but I would prefer not to! Hahaha!
Q: How do we get around?
A: We have a car which is nice because the bus system is kind of garbage here, but we do use the bus a lot as well!
Q:What is my favorite lesson to teach an investigator?
A: The Plan of Salvation! I love how simple yet elegant it is. To explain to people that God has created a perfect plan that was created not only to get us back home but it was created to stack the odds in our favor!
Splits in Kristiansand
We got to go on splits with the Elders in Ksand! It was awesome! Got to see Elder Holyoak and Elder Hansen again! I was with Elder Hansen! The first part of the day we had a waffle stand and gave people free waffles! It was really funny to see everyone's different reactions! Good time though! After that we broke out the bikes and went to visit someone that the Elders had found but he was on vacation for the past little bit. We biked a pretty good distance, and up a long massive hill... Not too enjoyable... However I loved it! Igor, or the man we were going to visit, was home, but was a little too busy too meet. We did get his phone number though! After banking on a few more doors and realizing that literally no one was home, we decided to hit the streets! We found some other people that were interested and then ate some McDonalds with the other Elders back at home!

Chris and Amanda
We met with a new person this week and his samboer! They are really awesome! We found them by just calling through the phone when we had some extra time. It was a great first lesson, but he does have a few concerns. He has a Jehovah Witness background so he had a few questions and sometimes I struggled to see the importance. As we talked I realized that he just had a sincere desire to know what the bible says, and just needs a guiding hand! Hopefully we can be that guiding hand!
I do not know if there is really anything else to really say this week! Probably the fastest week of my mission... Crazy how fast the weeks can go by, but the days can feel like they are never going to end! Hahahaha!
I wanted to focus on a scripture that I read this week that I really loved! Jacob and Joseph had just begun preaching unto the people and Jacob says this, Jacob 2:2
Now, my beloved brethren, I, Jacob, according to the responsibility which I am under to God, to magnify mine office with soberness
I do not know why that struck me so hard but I loved that last part, how he magnified his office with soberness. Jacob did not think he was better than he was, nor did he sell him short. He was sober, he knew what he needed to do, and was going to do it to the best of his ability with out making himself seem more than he was. As a missionary I try to resemble that, to be who the Lord needs me to be and trying to remember that I need to realize that their is someone else who actually runs this show!
