There is a good reason for my hatred of trains and it will be explain later on in this email, actually there will be a video about it! Hooray! Well besides the whole train hatred thing, this week was pretty fun and really effective!

Question and Answer
Q:Have we been studying the new Preach My Gospel?
A: Yeah the updated version is really cool, but the only problem is that it is online, and we do not always have access to that. Oh well!

Q:Camera?
A: It is safely back in my possession

Middags
We had dinner with a member every night this week! It was so much fun!

Monday we went to the Kristiansens and had a super fun time! She made a really good enchilida lasagna thing. Then some pavlova, sure that is how you spell that, which is a cake from norway (MOM you should google a photo and put it right here). It has a ton of fresh berry on it and cream. Well let me tell you I do not think Elder Garlick and I have eaten that much food in a while... The belts had to be loosened at this middag!

Tuesday... Talk about hot... We had MLC with President and Sister Karlssen. It was really fun and we talked a lot about how we can be effective leaders and help others to achieve their goals! After that we went to the Luke Family's house. It was 40 degrees celsius and they live on a massive hill, actually not just them but like every member lives on top of a massive hill... Well we got their sweating, like you would think we had just jumped in the river... Food was delicious though! Really nice and fun family!

Wednesday was with the Eliassens! They are awesome as always! We also played some volleyball with the Young Men and Young Women! I love the youth! They are so much fun!
Dinner at the Eliassens!

Looks yummy!!

Thursday... Here comes why I hate trains, and instead of typing it out I am just going to share this video with you!

After that experience we finally got to Drammen and headed to the Amundsen's house for dinner! We started walking after getting of the bus stop and then realized we had no idea where we were going. Luckily the Lord knows he is working with moronic 18, 19, and 20 year olds. so we somehow found our way to their house! Miracle! We had an awesome middag with them. Elder Stephenson and I were able to commit them to share the Gospel using one of their talents in the next two weeks!

On Friday we got a little bit of contacting in, and that was fun. We had a guy trying to teach us how to do our jobs as missionaries, always exciting. There was a guy about our age that was interested and we got his phone number... I forget to tell this but I left the phone on the bus on thursday so we are picking it up today... However we wrote down his phone number! We switched back and then headed to a middag with Geir Weggerson and his family! Half the middag was spent talking about global warming and the other half about the football team that is stuck in that cave. Basically the Weggerson family is awesome and could solve all the world's problems!! It was really fun and I do not remember how many hot dogs I ate, we just kinda ate...

On Saturday we visited a member who had moved from Alta! It was really nice to here some northern norwegian again!

We had a great week with lots of fun! I love working with the members here because of their strong faith in this church! I have been thinking a lot this week about why these members are so strong. The country they live in is not the fondest of religion, and they are not that many members here, so why? I think it has to do with the scripture in Alma 5:26

And now behold, I say unto you, my brethren, if ye have experienced a change of heart, and if ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can ye feel so now?

These members here have felt the Holy Ghost and it has changed their hearts, and they can feel so now! They read in their scriptures, they pray, they come to church, and they fulfill their callings (better than I have seen anywhere in my life). They are not slow to remember the Lord their God! I am touched by them and their strength and dedication. I know that this is the Lord's true and living church! I know because I can still feel the song of redeeming love!
