Out With The Old..In With The New...Maybe-Drammen Week Fifty Two

I know you all missed the great dramatic and heart wrenching emails I send, but last week was Elder Burgoyne's last Pday in Norway so we had to make it huge! We went on an epic hike with the district and took some awesome pictures!

Well besides that we have got some crazzzzzy things happening here in Drammen! Well before we get into that let's give a few shout outs and answer a few questions!

1. Barry, baby shank, was blessed this week and had a stunning outfit on! He is a beast!
2. The R-man who took second with his team at a 3v3 tournamnet! (I heard the team that got first paid of the refs)
3.  Rouven (who I taught) in Germany who gave his first talk a little bit a go! He is a stud!!

Wow i do not even know where to begin!

Stake Conference and Doing it American style!
Our stake conference is held a convention center about 30 minutes away from the church! It was a great conference! On saturday after the night session we grilled hamburgers for everyone! Elder Garlick and i had a blast! It was super fun, besides the fact that the clothes I wear may permanently smell like hamburgers... Other than that is was just like a big party! They even got the Sweden vs. Germany game going! We had such a good time!

On Sunday we had the normal meeting and the Stake President, Terje (Could Possibly be spelt wrong) Pedersen, had an amazing talk about revelation! It was incredible, he really is a powerful speaker! We heard President and Sister Hill give their last talks in Norway... We will be sad to see them go they are incredible!

New Mission President and a New Comp!!
We will be getting a new mission president this friday... Weird, but we are really excited to meet President and Sister Tew and work together to progress the work in Norway! Elder Garlick is fitting in great and we are having a blast! For all of you that do not remember Elder Garlick from the MTC, he is from Texas and his knee can predict the weather!

A few Member Visits and Other Visits

1. We helped build a beach this week for a YSA party that would be held later on
2. Got to attend said YSA party and help grill their too!
3. Played American Football this week! Man that was fun, and just so everyone knows, yes my team won! Apparently Elder Shanklin can play football!
4. Helped remove the weeds in between the stones, and will be finished this week!
5. Got a request for a Book of Mormon, and went to deliver it. After walking around confused for 15 minutes we found where we needed to go and delievered the book! She was super happy to have it, but said she was Athiest and she did not think she could believe in God. Well after talking for about 45 minutes, and after we bore sincere testimony she told us she would read the whole Book of Mormon and we encouraged her to read it with a question that she would ask God. She decided to ask why to bad things happen in the world? I know the Book of Mormon has an answer to that so she just has to read now!

Speaking of God! There is an awesome video i want y'all to check out! It is called Earthly Father Heavenly Father! This video explains perfectly God's love for us. He is always there and protecting us even if we do not see His hand immediatley. We can always be certain of one thing in this life though, GOD WILL NOT FORSAKE US! If we do all we can, He will do the rest!
