Hi folks this is Bobby Rad from Channel 7 with some exciting news from the wonderful city of Oslo!! First things first, we have a few warrants!
Warrants
1. A several murders occurred this last week. The kast of KHS has been found guilty of killing Les Mis!
2. Barry Shanklin has been found guilty of being just too awesome!
3. The Shanklin Striker Ryker has been accused of firing several shots most of which finding their targets in the opposing teams goal! Way to go on winning those soccer games
A short Interview
We were able to schedule a short interview with the District Leader of Oslo, Elder Shanklin, and got him to answer a few questions. We will turn the time over to Julie Stephens to give us the scoop on that!
Thanks Bobby! Even though Elder Shanklin had a full schedule we were able to squeeze in an interview last night and get some questions answered!
"What is the best food you have eaten in Norway?"
"Well I have had many fine meals in Norway, but I will have to say the best I have had is probably the classic Norwegian waffles! Crispy waffles with raspberry jam, sour cream, and brown cheese!"
"What is one testimony building experience you have had this week?"
"Hmmm well Julie that is a good question, and I think I am going to have to turn you to the article I sent to Bobby labeled 'How to plan a baptism in two days'!"

Thanks Julie that was an incredible interview and now we have a few short articles to review this week. First we turn to Elder Shanklin again with his newest piece of Literature, "How to plan a baptism in two days!"
Step 1:Call the people that you need to do the important things: Give talks, baptize, confirm, prayers, etc.
Step 2: Call other people to invite them
Step 3: Call more people
Step 4: Panic attack when someone cancels...
Step 5: God will bless with random people telling you that they can come!

The baptism went very well and for a tuesday baptism with two days notice, a good amount of people came! Eduardo was baptized and given the gift of the Holy Ghost by Brother Marius Andersen, who could speak spanish. For those wondering the meeting was held in spanish with translation to Norwegian for those who needed it! Picture will be enclosed!
Other exciting news is that the Norway Oslo Mission now has another licensed driver! Elder Carter Shanklin, not to be confused with Elder Brady Shanklin, passed his driver's test last wednesday! Elder Brady Shanklin, better known as Brady Shanklin now, was asked about how he felt that his brother had passed when he had failed to do so. His words were "You know deep down I always knew he was the better driver, I have just been afraid to admit it until now. However, now there is proof and I just can not deny it anymore, he is the best Shanklin at driving!" Elder Shanklin was found to say " You know I owe a lot to me oldest brother, he taught me a lot and gave the drive and dedication to pass! This victory for me is also a victory for him!" Such humility and grace, no wonder he passed with such flying colors!

This just in from the Channel 7 news room Elder Shanklin has been called to serve as Zone leader in the Drammen Area. The excitement in the room is insane! "I am very excited to serve in my brother's last area! I am excited to meet all the people he has met and to have a gran' ol' time!"-Elder Shanklin.

Well this week has been awesome! I have so thankful for the time I have spent in Oslo! So many amazing memories! I will always treasure them! I will put my new address on here so you all can forward your fan mail there instead! Love you all and can not wait to go to Drammen and party it up their!!
