Hello everybody and welcome to the wonderful city of Oslo! There is a lot of things I need to answer today so lets just start with the questions!
Questions and Answers!
1. What is banking? It is the same as tracting or knocking on doors! That is just the Norwegian word for knocking!
2. What is it like being District Leader? Well I will tell you that it is awesome! You have a lot of fun but you also have a lot more to take care of! I love it thought and am having a blast! Our District is the Two Sister Training Leaders, basicaly Sisters that have been in the mission longer and help other sisters, their comps, and then the Assistants to President Hill. Yes i am in charge of all the People that are in charge of the mission! Super fun!
3. Where am I serving? In Oslo but technically our area is called Oslo so we can go anywhere in Oslo basically
4. The sun? Yes it does exist contrary to popular belief in the north, it is nice to wake up and have the sun to greet you!
5. Pday activities? We are gonna go with the Sisters and figure out what we want to do and then we are taking the AP's to TGI Fridays because they are always doing stuff to help the mission!
6. Companion? My companions name is Elder Egan and he is from Sandy, Utah! He has been on the mission a transfer less
than me! He has killed 2 bears, antelope, pheasants, and all the Norwegian Girls. He is a stud and loves to work! He likes to use sauce, any kind does not really matter what type of sauce or what food it is. Overall he is just a fun loving guy who loves the work!

7. Drivers Test? Soon... maybe.. vi får se
8. How close to the mission home? Like 20 minutes by car
9. What is the ward like? Lots of people. That is the most Mormons I have seen in one building in six months. Lots of people but they are all really nice and I am trying to get to know them!
Banking
Elder Egan and I went out banking and it was way awesome! People say you do not bank in Oslo and thanks to them not banking we have found tons of people that were interested! We have a Father who we found who said he would read the book and that we cold come teach more on Tuesday! We then got out a book to a girl whose parents are both priests in the Norwegian church but she said she would read Moroni 10 and call us, she would not give us her phone number or commit to an appointment. Then we have an awesome old Lady who wants us to come back this next week and teach her!

Falling
For some reason I have fallen 2 times here and i did not even fall once in Tromsø... Weird... Same with Elder Egan though his first 2 times falling was in the past couple days!

Book of Mormon Musical
The Book of Mormon musical is great but we are in charge of it so we have to get the books ready for each night and make sure that members and missionaries are coming! We also had our Ward Mission Leader give an awesome pep speech in priesthood about the musical and all the ward is now behind it and going to support our efforts!! It was awesome! We actually have been getting a lot of referrals and people wanting to come to church because of it! It is awesome! Not the most preferable way to get the church name out but we will take what we can get!

Well more to come next week keep up the hard work everybody! I hope that everyone has a great week! For this weeks thought I would love if everybody could watch this short clip about President Monson and his life! It was a sad day to hear about his passing, but his life stands a testament that this is God's Church and that he was his chosen prophet!
