Ha det så lenge Tromsø (Bye for now Tromso) -Tromsø Week Twenty Eight

So I guess the first news for today is that I am in fact leaving Tromsø... That means I am leaving the only area I have known my entire mission. The Northern Lights, Tromsø, and everything here is going to change. However I am super excited to go to Oslo and be the DL there! My new companion is Elder Egan and I have heard that he is a stud and a half so I am way pumped to go and work with him!

Shout Outs

1. Bus driver that played Cold Play while we were on the bus for 25 minutes! It was a good bus ride.
2. The Fam! It was awesome to see everybody on Skype!
3. Macy! I heard she has been feeling a little under the weather but she is just awesome regardless! Such a fun loving person!
4. Northern Lights - I have taken these past Northern Light shows as Tromsø telling me Goodbye... Goodbye old friend...

New Years

So New Years here is like the Fourth of July in the states except bigger. Everyone and their dog is shooting off fireworks. Like I mean everyone. The cool part is is that everything is legal in Norway! Lots of big explosions and stuff! It felt like home! The other part of New Years is just typical Norwegian, they get drunk. The first time in my life that I have been offered alcohol happened last night. As I was setting up my camera to takes some pictures I guy came by with a bottle and wanted me to take a video of him popping the cork, so I thought sure whatever makes this guy happy. Well he did that and then he handed me the bottle. Well I thought, sure I'll just take a swig, then the thought entered my head, "This is probably not sparkling cider, we are in Norway this is alcohol." So I looked at the bottle and asked the guy what it was and he just said "Something we made at home." Yeah then my hand smelled like alcohol for the rest of the night. However I will now tell you all those family home evening practices where we pretended to say no to people that over of alcohol really payed off, so thanks Mom!
Happy New Year

Talk

I gave a farewell talk in Tromsø at church! I talked about happiness and how to find it. Sadly the only copy I have of my talk is in Norwegian so I will include the talk but I do not know how much sense it will make to anybody!  (Mom note: I have a copy if you want to read it!)

Well literally nothing else really happened this week... Sorry for the kind of boring emails, but I am sure next week will back a bigger punch! Love you all! Also ATTENTION ATTENTION  for all of you who just skip through these emails, which I do not really blame you sometimes I just go off on tangents (Exhibit A), my address has changed so I will post it in the same spot as I did my old address! This is just to make sure none of your fan mail gets lost while I move!
