I passed my six month mark last week on the 7th... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! *Ahem* I am fine. Time flies on the mission like what?!?! I have been out that long it feels like maybe 2 weeks tops... Well now that we have that panic attack out of the way lets get to the email!

2. Getting to see Karee was awesome and she did bring the packages from you mom so that was awesome as well!!

4. Sister Carpenter and her seminary class! They are awesome!! The package I got was sweet! The food is slowly being eaten!

Questions and Answers
1. What is it like with so much snow? Well it is very icy, which means almost biffing it several times. I will point out I have not fallen yet! Also taking Arvid to church in his wheelchair is an Adventure!
2. What is Mørketid like? The sun never really shows up and it is pitch black and about 1:30! I am doing fine those because I drink so much milk along with the other vitamin stuff I am fine! There was not a festival to celebrate as far as I know!
3. Christmas Decorations for the apartment? We have three trees now with the ones our moms have sent and the small one we have at the apartment! We have some other stuff too sent by Momma Fowler and Momma Shank so we are doing great!
4. Food I will miss? Chinese food on Christmas Eve of course, and the sparking grape juice thing we make at home. Honestly what I miss the most is good sugar cereal from the states it is like 5 bucks here in Norway!!!! This is an outrage! Besides that I would just say that I really do miss the home cook meals my Mom made!
5. How is Rouven doing? He is doing awesome! He just got the Aaronic priesthood which is way incredible! He is just amazing and I can not tell you how much of a blessing it was to be able to guide him, because literally he was so prepared we did not teach him that much! He just was a stud!
Christmas Package!!
I lasted about 24 hours... I am sorry but at the same time regret nothing! It as a legendary package with lots of incredible things! I am assuming the pajama pants were Ryker?? As a missionary I realized the really Christmas present is getting to share the gift the Savior has given us!!

Oslo Conference
Alright so we went down to Oslo this week and we got to stay in the mission home again, which meant I ate like 6 bowls of actual frosted flakes!!!! I love cereal! Getting to see everybody at the conference was amazing! I got to see so many Elders and Sisters that I have not seen in forever!! There was an amazing talent show and everyone else showed there amazing talents and then our district did the 12 days of Christmas missionary version which goes like this

Since when we had practice the Alta Elders were over skype we had them stand holding things to cover their faces and they had a delay when they would sing! It was way funny! I hope Someone recorded it! We will find out and let you know!! We also did skits and our skit was pretending to be a BarneHage or Preschool here! It was way funny and I think sister hill should be posting it on their blog! So go watch it! Also the best part was when President came in dressed as Santa Claus!! I was so happy for no apparent reason!! Pictures will follow!

So this week I guess the most Noteworthy thing would be that we went to Arvid's house and put up Christmas decorations in his house for him! We made a tree and some snowflakes for his house! Elder Fowler also gave him a haircut because usually Arvid cuts his own hair and well you can imagine how it looks when an 88 year old man cuts his own hair. It was so much fun to help him out and he really enjoys it!

This week in our spiritual thought corner we have... Drum Roll please!!!!! John 21:15-17
15 ¶ So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
This scripture when I read it when straight to my heart. If we truly love the Savior, I mean love Him more than anything else, then we will feed His sheep! We will light the world! We will serve! We will teach! We will do the very things Christ did when He was upon the earth! That is the only desire I really have this Christmas! To declare as the angel did unto the shepherds "Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy!" I hope everyone has an amazing week and will try to be more like their Savior everyday!
