3. Naomi for the awesome picture of Link from Legend of Zelda
4. Ryker who I heard gave an amazing talk in the primary program!

Weather Update

IT SNOWED A LOT!!!! LIKE A LOT!!! Boots are now worn everywhere.... It is great! We made snowmen!!! It get light at around 10 and the sun sets around 2. We still go out like it was normal day though! People will be out no matter what so we will be out no matter what!! I am drinking fish oil with vitamin D in it so I will fine when the sun does not shine anymore. (In a couple weeks the sun will not be visible at all during the day...) WOOOO Mørketid!!

Enjoying the first snowfall with a snowball fight!

I slept outside, with Elder Martineau at the Zone conference because sleeping in a room full of 6 other Elders... You can imagine it did not smell too good! Also I will be at first transfer training later today so yeah! Also the Millers had us over for breakfast this morning so that was wonderful too! Update on the snow, it is still snowing and we had a snowball fight with the sisters. I won. No mercy.

Counting Toddler

So this story actually happened a couple weeks ago but I will explain why it is coming up right now. In Norway they take the Preschoolers on little fieldtrips sometimes and they all come onto the buses. Like all 30 of them. It is great because they all are in there winter clothes and wearing these reflector vests and there Norwegian is hilarious! One kid sat next to me and just started talking to me and then I told him I was trying to learn Norwegian and he said he would teach me to count. I though to myself cool this will be fun! He got all the way to tjue ni (29) and then said tjue ti, tjue elve, tjue tolv... which is the equivalent of saying twenty ten, twenty eleven, twenty twelve. I quickly said " Jeg tro at det er tretti, ikke sant". Or I think it is thirty, right?. He said oh yeah than got all the way to thirty nine and did it again... I look up and say his teachers face and she just look at me with a face that said "He has some work to do." We saw the same group of little kids when getting off the bus and they remembered me and waved hi! It felt good to have little kids be so happy to see us!
Tiny snowman on their deck!

Book of Mormon Musical

I WAS STOKED!!! So we went to zone conference this past week and while in Oslo the AP's, or assistants to the president asked if anyone wanted to go to the Book of Mormon Musical and wait outside to hand out Books after the play got let out. Yeah I almost peed myself... This is like on the bucket list of things to do as a missionary. As the play let out I had a stack of Books of Mormon and a white shirt and tie on. There were 4 reactions we got.

1. Laughing. They thought it was hilarious that we were out there and we were real missionaries
2. They ask if you work at the theater and were part of the play. Nope folks I am a real missionary
3. "You are very smart to be out here right now." -Person. "Thanks for that, would you like a free book?"-Me
4. They get upset at you. Low Key just kind of ignored these people because you do not have time to deal with them and hand out Books of Mormon

It was a great experience though! We gave out 200 Books of Mormon in less than 40 minutes... I would have a stack of 7-8 Books and in seconds they would be gone!!!!! I loved it! Taking pictures with people! I really felt pumped!
Time in Oslo
Asian Guy

So we went on splits at Zone conference and something really cool happened! As I was contacting with Elder Ashby I saw an Asian guy looking at a map really confused so I thought lets go help him! As I asked if he needed help we made eye contact and we just starting pointing at eachother... This guy is someone I had contacted in Tromsø and he told me he would be traveling around Norway! We had talked to him before and he said he really wanted to meet with the Mormon Missionaries in Singapore. After we helped him find out where he needed to go, I asked if he still planned to meet with the missionaries. He said yes but his wallet had been stolen so he lost the card we gave him. We gave him a new card and he said he could not wait to talk to the missionaries in Singapore! I was blown away that that happened.... It was not a coincidence we met again! The Lord knew him and knew that he needed another card! The Lord knows his children individually!!

Splits!

Just to recount our splits! Me and Elder Ashby gave out
4 Books of Mormon
15 Cards
And got
6 Phone Numbers
2 Appointments
with 4 other Potential Investigators

All that in only an Hour and a Half!! Pretty Successful! The Lord leads his work!!

Our Investigators!

Henrik is doing amazing and as always is a stud! We asked him to be baptized but he feels like he is not quite ready yet. It is hard because he has such a strong testimony and I feel like he is 100% ready. I know he will be baptized though!! He is such a humble guy and I love his insights during our lessons!!

Rouven is doing good as well! He has a friend in town so we will not be able to meet with him until next sunday! He did commit to reading the Book of Mormon before next conference though! Way exciting to see someone so ready to commit!

Overall I love our investigators so much! I can not tell you the joy I feel when I see how they are being blessed for obeying the call of the Lord! I know that God watches over them constantly!

To close I will leave you with a scripture in 2nd Timothy 1:7

7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

I know that to be true. We are not to be afraid. As I have been on my mission I have felt God guiding me to do his work! If we trust in God he can and will help us! Just like it says in Doctrine and Covenants 6:36

36 Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not.

I love you all and wish you best!!
