I am alive. I know most of you await eagerly to receive my emails so I apologize for the delay. We were a little busy hiking a mountain. So your boy up in Tromsø is a little hvordan sier man trøtt... so this might be a little short but I hope I can still get my message across! Shout outs to some stellar people! Matt Breckenridge who is killing it in the MTC and Kiribati!! Can I get an S! Can I get a T! Can I get a U! Can I get a D! What does that spell STUD!!! Shout to my Bro in Yakima! Elder Heaton is killing it! He is working hard and sharing the Gospel like a stud! Can not believe I knew a stud like him before I left on my mission! Also a shout out to everyone at home and abroad we can fell your prayers up here in Tromsø! Thanks for all you do! All right lets dive into this week!
Monday
We celebrated Christmas because Elder Rumsey and Nielsen are leaving to different areas after this transfer! If you have questions just send em in an email next week! Our Investigator Rouven, German Student, came to FHE and we talked about Joseph Smith and it was way awesome!!
Tuesday
I tried to become legal in Norway but my rent contract is expired... Yeah being Illegal... Do not worry they can not kick me out because I am still trying to become legal. We met with Rouven and taught the Plan of Salvation and he asked some really good questions and I know he will receive answers to his prayers because we have as well! Sad news today with Idris, because he comes from a country that is not so fond to christianity we had to cancel the baptism. It was putting his life too much and risk and I do not feel that is what the Lord would want. It is sad to think that he will not be getting baptized but in the same time it is the Lord's baptism and I know Idris will be baptized in the Lord's time!
Wednesday
We met up with a less active named Arild and he took us out for some way good European pizza! We talked with him and had an awesome time! Then we had Young Mens with the Quereshis! The goal was to help them prepare for conference! It was way good and Rod and Tor seemed to be ready for conference!! That is what I am talking about!!

Thursday
Typical missionary day! We had koselig kveld and played games and just had a party! We also figured out that the Harstad Elders were coming up for General Conference.
Friday
Super cool opportunity tonight at Lil's house! She invited us over for TRC. If you remember from my days in the MTC, like 5 years ago or something. We would skype with people in Norway and teach them. Well Lil is super awesome and volunteers to help and invites the missionaries in Tromsø over to her house to say hello! We were able to see two of the Elders coming next transfer! Wonderful to see them learning Norwegian!
| I am guessing that his is their ride to the base of the mountain |
Saturday
We picked up the Harstad Elders and came back to the apartment to do studies. Then comes a story. As we headed to the church to set up the Women's Session of Conference, a man stopped me and Elder Martinuea (One of the Harstad Elders) and asked "Are you Mormons?" I responded yes and then thought were is this gonna go... Well he then asked if any of us had any pains and Elder Rumsey's calfs were soar so he told him that. The guy then said he would like to prayer to heal his calfs. So we stood in the street while this guy prayed to heal Elder Rumsey's calfs. It was an experience... He also then told us the usual mormon anti stuff and when we told him we did not believe that he just said "Yeah you can say that all you want but me know"... I was just like okay whatever and we left... A little bit frustrating but conference was awesome!

Sunday
Awesome listened to Conference in Norwegian! It helped me focus on the Smaller things in the talks! I really learned that Jesus Christ is the Center of it All!! Also Rouven came to every session of conference and really liked it!!!!!!!!! STUDLY! Made me so happy! Also I got a way awesome compliment from a member here! As we were talking I was explaining how one of the sisters investigators wants to serve a mission and if he got baptized soon I could serve with him. She look at me puzzled and said "How long have you been out on your mission?" I told her I have only been out four months. She said "oh, I thought you were near the end of your mission..." I explained how I was a greenie and this is my first area. I asked her why she thought that and she said "Well your Norwegian sounds like you have only a couple months less" I literally almost cried. Gift of Tongues is real! Like wow! I am gonna keep working super hard!!
Monday
Today
