This week has been amazing and I am telling you that Tromsø is literally the City of Miracles! First a couple shoutouts! Matt Breckridge, the man, the myth, the legend, is going to the Marshall Islands pretty soon! He is an incredible friend, and is going to be one stud of a missionary! Shout out to my little bro Ryker! He is killing it back home just being a beast! Doing 360s on kneeboards, earning merit badges, and getting A's in school! What a legend!! Alright this week was amazing so let us get right into it!

Wednesday
We checked up on a lot of homes yesterday of people that we knew. Not a lot of them answered but we did visit a man named Lars. He is super cool and very respectful to the missionaries! He let us in but he only had a few minutes to talk! Still it was good to have some so warm and friendly towards us!
Thursday
Banking day! It was great to go out and do a little banking (knocking)! We were able to give a Book of Mormon to a young man about our age and he said to come back and we could discuss about the Book but right then he did not have the time to meet with us! We also got to help an old lady with some gardening work! It was the first time we offered service to somebody and they send we could help!!! Awesome right! We also taught an arabic family who let us in and there son translated from Norwegian to Arabic for us!

Friday
YES! What an amazing day! We went to check up on a few homes in an area and sadly they were busy but they welcomed us back in two weeks because they would have more free time! We decided to knock on a couple doors and we had a really awesome conversation with a father named Roff! We were talking with him and then his little son, Axle, and his son's friend came and asked us what we were doing. We told them we were sharing this book, The Book of Mormon, with other people. He promptly took the book out of Eldste Rumsey's hands and started to walk in. My thought was "Cool, easiest Book of Mormon we have given away!" His dad took it and gave it back to us. However after we talked more he took a Book of Mormon and said next time when we came we were welcome to come in and talk more! His son and his friend then asked us what we were going to do next. We told them we would knock on the next door and they said they were coming with us. He took us to the house and then just opened the door. We were like "Ikke gjør det" or "Do not do that" and he said "Det går bra. Jeg kjenner dem" or " It is okay. I know them". Luckily he listened to us and shut the door. It was way cool and they were way funny! Good times!

Saturday
Awesome day! We had språk with Lil! She is an awesome member here who every week helps us with the language! We also taught Idris! He is doing so well! We also had Brother Qureshi on the teach! Since Brother Qureshi can speak Arabic it was really good for him and Idris to just talk and for Idris to have a member friend! Our lesson went amazingly, especially because Brother Qureshi just really is a stud! He made the lesson 100X better than it would have been without him!
Sunday
Yesterday I gave a talk about prayer! People said the could understand my Norwegian and that it was very good! I also talked with Henrik, he is a young man that is the sisters investigators and he is 17or 18, and we talked about trials in life and he said something really profound I wanted to share. He said " When you go through hard times in your life you are going to stumble, but stumble forward!" That is wisdom to live by!
This was an amazing week and everyday the Lord blesses me so much! I would like everyone if they have time to watch a short video: https://www.lds.org/media-library/video/2016-03-0020-is-there-a-place-for-me?lang=eng&_r=1&category=unity-in-diversity&cid=HP_WE_23-8-2017_dPAD_fMNWS_xLIDyL2_
There is a place for everyone in this church! This gospel is for everyone. I am not serving a mission because it is what is expected of me. I am serving a mission because the joy this Gospel has brought into my life it greater than all other things combined. I am serving to share that joy with others. I love you all and that is why with all the love and respect I have for you all, I encourage everyone to take some time and talk to the Missionaries. There is so much more to this life. I know that my Redeemer lives. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for me. I know that above all I am a Son of God. I will do those things which honor my Father in Heavens name.
