On Sunday May 14, 2017 Carter was ordained and Elder by Doug Fogelquist. Brother Fogelquist had been ordained by Shawn and so this allowed for Carter to still have his dads priesthood line of authority. It was a very sacred experience for everyone there.

On Tuesday May 16, 2017 Carter had the privilege of attending the Kansas City Missouri Temple. We had several friends their to enjoy this special occasion. We appreciate their love and support as Carter prepares to serve a full time mission.
